Collegium focuses on conditions often shaped by complexity and misconceptions. Our current portfolio includes treatments for central nervous system (CNS) conditions such as Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), as well as medicines that support responsible pain management.

We know that complex conditions continue to shape how people wake up, work, parent, connect, and rest. The impact of these conditions touches every aspect of a patient’s community from families to classrooms and workplaces. These conditions do not follow a schedule, making it paramount that treatments reflect the reality of patients’ lives.

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

ADHD is one of the most common and most misunderstood neurodevelopmental conditions, affecting an estimated 15.5 million adults and 6.5 million children in the United States.1,2 It is a difference in how the brain regulates attention, impulse, and activity, and it can shape the quality of a person’s day.3 For many, symptoms persist well beyond childhood, including challenges with sustained attention, executive function, emotional regulation, and the management of daily routines.4

The experience of ADHD is often described in terms of focus and hyperactivity, but the reality is more complex. ADHD affects how people wake up,5 manage transitions and stay organized,6 meet responsibilities,7 and maintain relationships throughout the day.8

Research consistently shows that the burden of ADHD is shared across the family, affecting parents, siblings, caregivers, and the relationships between them.9,10 From morning routines and homework struggles to emotional dysregulation and the ongoing demands of managing a complex condition, the impact often extends well beyond the individual patient.9,10

Pain

Pain can touch nearly every aspect of daily life, influencing how people sleep, work, move through the world, spend time with loved ones, and participate in the moments that matter most.11

Chronic pain affects an estimated 60 million adults in the United States, with approximately 8.5% experiencing high-impact chronic pain that limits work and daily activity.12 For some with high-impact chronic pain, it is both severe and persistent enough to warrant consideration of continuous opioid therapy. The experience of severe and persistent pain can impact sleep, cognitive function, emotional regulation, and social connection.11,13 Effective treatment requires understanding the full arc of a patient’s day and the impact of pain on their function and quality of life.11
