Job Description:
Collegium Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Product Development Chemist I/II in our Product Research & Development department. As a member of our team, you will be working with and learning from experienced pharmaceutical development and manufacturing professionals.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Perform analytical testing on prototype product formulations;
  • Execute experiments in support of development of oral dosage pharmaceutical formulations and test methods;
  • Support the development of prototype product formulations;
  • Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and standard operating procedures;
  • Set-up and operate lab-scale processing equipment;
  • Coordinate calibrations and maintenance of laboratory equipment;
  • Maintain the laboratory and order supplies when needed;
  • Assist in tech transfer and manufacture of clinical test materials in a cGMP manufacturing site; and
  • Maintain proper documentation practices in both laboratory and cGMP environments.


Requirements:
B.S. degree in Physical/Pharmaceutical Sciences or Chemical Engineering with 0-5 years relevant experience in a Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry. Experience with bench chemistry or analytical testing in a pharmaceutical or QC environment is highly desired. Experience with pharmaceutical formulation development also a plus.
