JOB TITLE: Formulation Development Technician, Topical Products
LOCATION: Cumberland, RI

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute to the Topical Product Development process from concept through formulation and commercialization;
• Conduct benchwork to support the development of topical pharmaceutical products and their analytical assays;
• Perform tests of prototype product formulations;
• Research and test new container/closure systems for topical products;
• Assist/lead in the manufacture of lab-scale and pilot batches;
• Participate in formulation tech transfer to cGMP manufacturing.
• Conduct scientific studies to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of products/product prototypes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 to 2 years post-academic hands-on Product Development experience in consumer products, cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry, desired;
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Physical/Life Sciences or Engineering
