Collegium uses its broad expertise in IP development, drug formulation, manufacturing, basic science (chemistry, biology, engineering), and clinical trials management to identify and maximize opportunities for ourselves and our partners.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct process development studies in support of solid oral dosage formulation development
  • Support the development of solid oral dosage formulations;
  • Lead technology transfer to manufacturing sites;
  • Support manufacture of clinical trial materials at manufacturing sites;
  • Set-up and operate lab-scale processing equipment;
  • Maintain the laboratory and order supplies when needed;
  • Perform physical characterization tests on prototype product formulations;
  • Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and standard operating procedures;
  • Maintain proper documentation practices in both laboratory and cGMP environments.


Requirements:

  • B.S. or MS degree in Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in solid oral dosage formulation and/or process development.
  • Experience with statistical design of experiments and Quality by Design is a plus.
  • Experience with data analysis (MS Excel), and proficiency with MS Word is required.
  • All applicants must be eligible to work in Rhode Island.
